Doha 09th May 2014: Four more airlines will start their operation from Hamad International Airport (HIA) next week.

The airlines which will start services from May 14 include Etihad Airways, Kuwait Airways, Sri Lankan Airlines and Royal Jordanian, according to Al Sharq report.

The new state-of-the-art airport of Qatar started its passenger operation last month.

Ten carriers including Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Fly Dubai, Air Arabia, Iran Air, Air India Express, Yemenia Yemen Airlines, Pakistan International Airlines, Nepal Airlines, Syrian Airlines and Pegasus Airlines already started their services from the new airport.

The full operation of the airport, with all the remaining carriers, including Qatar Airways, is scheduled from 27 this month.
