Eagles Resolve 2013 Military Exercise concludes

Doha, May 03 – HH the Heir Apparent and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Qatari Armed Forces Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Thursday morning witnessed activities of the closing day of the Eagles Resolve 2013 Military Exercise being carried out by the Qatari armed forces with the participation of a number of the armed forces of the sisterly and friendly countries in Al Qalayel area.

HH the heir apparent and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Qatari Armed Forces was briefed by the land intelligence and operations on the operations which the Qatari armed forces and the participating forces in Eagles Resolve 2013 Military Exercise which was divided into several stages, starting from the proliferation of the forces in the economic, land and sea-depth areas to the preparation, execution and reproliferation and the combat exercises.

The Eagles Resolve 2013 Military Exercise has concentrated on several key points including cooperation in repulsing to rocket attacks, resisting the radioactive leakage, protecting the economic zones and combating terrorism in all its forms and types including stamping out the sleeper cells.

Then the participating forces conducted live shooting by the maneuvering units to check how they accurately hit their targets theoretically and practically. The exercise also included shooting by artillery, hawn and tanks supported by combat Augusta Aircraft and helico
