Qatar's Permanent Committee discusses development projects in Jerusalem

 

Doha 04th July 2013: Qatar’s Permanent Committee in Support of Jerusalem held a meeting at the Foreign Ministry Headquarters yesterday to discuss the new development projects in the Occupied Jerusalem relating to education, health and social sectors.

The meeting analyzed the projects undertaken by the Committee in 2012 in the areas of health, education, social and sports.

Qatar’s Ambassador to Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League, HE Saif bin Muqqadam Al Buainain presided at the meeting.

The meeting aims at supporting Jerusalem and its people’s steadfast, an objective, which has been acknowledged by the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, in all previous meetings and conferences held in support for the Palestinian cause in general and Jerusalem in particular, said HE Al Buainain.

Palestinian Authority official for Jerusalem Affairs, Hatem Abdul Qader, Sheikh Dr. Ikrima Sa’id Sabri, head of the Supreme Islamic Council and the Al Aqsa Mosque preacher, Committee members Dr. Haitham al-Hasan and Abdul Qadir Al-Khatib were also present at the meeting.
