Sheikh Tamim to attend istisqa prayer calling for rain

Doha 09th November 2013: Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, emir of Qatar will attend istisqa prayer calling for rainfall at Al Wajba prayer ground on Sunday morning.

 The prayer which will be held at 6am on Sunday is called by Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Qatar.

The prayer consisting of two rakaah is taken recourse to when seeking rain from Allah during times of drought.
