Please note that the aforementioned brands have been rewarded with a nomination on the basis of their social media activity, innovation in social media management and the manner in which they engage, inform and entertain fans and followers online. It does not depend on the total number of ‘likes’ or ‘followers.

Readers may cast their vote by simply clicking on the box next to their favorite brand. This poll would remain open until 15th February, following which we shall announce the final winners in each category.

The Winner of the The Nominations for Qatar Chronicle Readers Award for Most Extraordinary Achievement in Social Media would be announced on the same date and nominations are invited from citizens across the nation.

To participate simply send in their nominations via e-mail to the following address: [email protected] , titled “Nomination for Qatar Chronicle Social Media Awards”. Please remember to include the name of the Organization/Community you nominate along with links to their social media pages and a brief description as to why you love what they do on Social Media.

It had been initially announced that the poll would remain open until Thursday, 6th February. This date has since been extended to the following week. The poll would thus remain open until Saturday, 15th February 2014.
