Quetta 23rd March 2014: A collision between two passenger buses and an oil tanker killed at least 35 people in south-west Pakistan’s Balochistan province yesterday. Thirty others were injured.

The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning near Gadani checkpost in Hub district of Balochistan province when a bus travelling to Karachi collided with the petrol tanker coming from opposite direction on RCD Highway in Hub. Another passenger bus that was following the tanker also collided with the first bus and the vehicles caught fire.

According to officials, dead bodies were completely burnt and beyond recognition. Those who injured were admitted to Jam Ghulam Qadir hospital in Hub city and many of them were in critical condition.
